How Voting Policies Work
Your voting policy defines the governance thresholds used when generating proxy advisory reports. Each threshold controls when a specific governance concern is flagged.
1. Set thresholds
Choose a preset or adjust individual thresholds to match your governance philosophy.
2. Save your policy
Your policy is saved locally in your browser. Export it as JSON to share with colleagues.
3. View proxy reports
Navigate to any company's proxy report. Your saved policy is automatically applied.
Important Notice
Voting policies and proxy reports are automated governance analysis tools. They are not personalised financial advice under the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013 (NZ). Fund managers and institutional investors should apply their own judgement and consult their governance teams before finalising voting decisions.
