HENDERSON FAR EAST INCOME LIMITED (the “Company”)

The Company announces the allotment of 50,000 Ordinary Shares at 352.00p per
share on 24 January 2017, each fully paid under its block listing facility. The net
asset value per Ordinary Share as at the close of business on 23 January 2017 was
342.4p.

These shares will be issued for cash on 26 January 2017. As at 26 January 2017 the
issued share capital will be 115,560,564 and the number of voting rights will be
115,560,564.
