HENDERSON FAR EAST INCOME LIMITED (the “Company”)

The Company announces the allotment of 50,000 Ordinary Shares at 354 p per share
on 7 February 2017, each fully paid under its block listing facility. The net asset value
per Ordinary Share as at the close of business on 6 February 2017 2017 was 346.6p.

These shares will be issued for cash on 9 February 2017. As at 9 February 2017 the
issued share capital will be 115,610,564 and the number of voting rights will be
115,610,564 .
