HENDERSON FAR EAST INCOME LIMITED (the “Company”)

The Company announces the allotment of 50,000 Ordinary Shares at 351.00p per
share on 9 February 2017, each fully paid under its block listing facility. The net asset
value per Ordinary Share as at the close of business on 8 February 2017 was 343.7p.

These shares will be issued for cash on 13 February 2017. As at 13 February 2017 the
issued share capital will be 115,660,564 and the number of voting rights will be
115,660,564.
