FINAL DIVIDEND FOR 2016

As previously reported to shareholders, the Board planned another dividend increase ahead
of inflation for 2016. Two quarterly dividends of 2.35 pence per share were paid in August
2016 and November 2016 and a third interim dividend payment of 2.45 pence per share was
paid in February 2017. The final dividend is scheduled for payment in May 2017 subject to
shareholder approval.
The Directors of the Company have therefore resolved that a final dividend of 2.70 pence per
ordinary share be paid in respect of the year ended 31 December 2016 on 2 May 2017 to
shareholders registered at the close of business on 31 March 2017.
