PRIVATE PLACEMENT

WELLINGTON New Zealand – Chatham Rock Phosphate Limited (TSXV: “NZP” and NZAX: “CRP” or
the “Company") wishes to announce a private placement of 89,764 common shares at a price of $0.37 per
common share for gross proceeds of $33,213. The proceeds from the private placement will be used for general
working capital. The private placement is subject to the acceptance by the TSX Venture Exchange.
