FONTERRA CONFIRMS AMOUNT OF AWARD IN ARBITRATION PROCEEDINGS
Fonterra is aware that Danone has indicated that it has been awarded damages in the amount of
NZ$183 million in the arbitration with Fonterra resulting from Fonterra’s precautionary recall of WPC80
product in August 2013.
Fonterra can confirm that this is the amount of the award and is currently considering the full financial
implications of the award. Fonterra expects to provide a market announcement on these implications
shortly.
