‘Senior Manager’ Determination

Meridian Energy Limited recently announced changes to its Executive team, with the role of General Manager
Markets and Production being split into two new executive positions – Generation and Natural Resources and
Wholesale.
Meridian Energy has determined that each of the persons holding the two new executive positions are deemed to
be a ‘Senior Manger’ for the purposes of the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013.
As a result, the persons from time to time holding the following positions in Meridian Energy are deemed to be a
‘Senior Manager’ as defined in section 6 of that Act:

Chief Executive Officer – Meridian Energy Limited

Chief Financial Officer

General Manager – Generation and Natural Resources

General Manager – Wholesale

General Manager – Retail

Chief Executive Officer – Powershop Australia
