Moa Group Ltd – change in Chair.
Moa Brewing Company ( NZX:MOA ) announces a change in Chairman.
Current Chair Ashley Waugh who has served the Moa board for three years will retire at the
end of December. Ashley has several farming and family commitments that mean he will be
reducing some of his commercial and board commitments.
CEO Geoff Ross states that “Ashley has been one of the best board members and Chairmen
I have worked with. His contribution has been huge both professionally and personally. He
has taken Moa through a considerable period of strategic change positioning us for further
growth and a move into profit”.
Replacing Ashley and becoming Executive Chairman will be Geoff Ross. Ross will continue
as CEO. Ross has served as an Executive Chairman in the past, for several years with listed
Skincare and Fragrance Company Trilogy International.
The board is fully supportive of this move and also wish to thank Ashley for his contribution.
Independent Directors Sheena Henderson and John Ashby will continue along with existing
directors Craig Styris and David Poole.
