Sanford Announces Changes to the Executive Team

Sanford Limited (NZX: SAN) has today announced changes to the Executive Team with the

departure of its Chief Operating Officer (COO), Greg Johansson for personal reasons. Sanford CEO,

Volker Kuntzsch, has acknowledged Greg’s significant contribution to Sanford during his 27 year

tenure and says that, whilst it was sad for the business to see Greg leave, he was pleased that Greg

has agreed to continue providing his vast expertise to Sanford in a consulting capacity.

Mr Kuntzsch also announced the appointment of Sanford’s current Chief Financial Officer (CFO),

Clement Chia, to the COO role. Clement has been with the company as CFO since 2014, during

which time he has built remarkable respect internally and externally, especially with shareholders and

the investor community. Clement’s diverse commercial background across primary industries and the

FMCG sector will be an asset in continuing the transformation of Sanford’s operations into a market

led organisation.

The company has embarked on a search for a new CFO. In the interim, Stuart Houliston, Group

Financial Controller, will step into the role of Acting CFO. Stuart has been with Sanford for 5 years

and has a very strong and extensive financial career, including senior roles at accounting firm KPMG

where he was a Director in the Audit division prior to joining Sanford. He is a Fellow of the Institute of

Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
