OCEANIA HEALTHCARE ADDS TWO NEW DIRECTORS TO THE BOARD


The Oceania Healthcare Board announced today that it has appointed Sally Evans as an independent
non-executive director, and Gregory Tomlinson as a non-executive director. The appointments will take
effect from 23 March 2018.

Ms Evans has over 30 years’ experience in the private, government and social enterprise sectors in
Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Hong Kong. Ms Evans has previously held
Directorships on the boards of Opal Specialist Aged Care and Blue Cross Aged Care, was an inaugural
member of the Australian Federal Government’s Aged Care Financing Authority and held executive roles
as Healthcare Director at the FTSE Compass Group plc and Head of Aged Care at AMP Capital. Ms
Evans currently chairs the social enterprise LifeCircle and is a member of the consumer and industry
advisory group to Australian Treasury on the proposed framework for retirement incomes. She was
awarded the 2002 Telstra Australian Corporate and Private Sector Business Women’s Award and was a
finalist in the 2013 Australian Financial Review Women of Influence Awards. Following her appointment,
Ms Evans will be a member of Oceania Healthcare’s Clinical and Health & Safety Committee.

Mr Tomlinson is a Christchurch domiciled businessman and investor with experience in a variety of New
Zealand industries. One of the original pioneers of the aquaculture industry in Marlborough, he has also
established construction and aged care businesses. Mr Tomlinson established Qualcare before it was
sold into the Oceania Group in early 2008 and he was a director of Oceania Healthcare from 2008 until
2016. He is currently a director of, and has a shareholding interest in, Oceania Healthcare Holdings
Limited (which holds 57.22% of the shares in Oceania Healthcare). Mr Tomlinson holds directorships on
the boards of a number of New Zealand based companies and is currently a director of Heartland Bank
Limited.

In accordance with Oceania Healthcare’s constitution, Mr Tomlinson and Ms Evans will retire and offer
themselves for election at the annual meeting of shareholders to be held later in 2018.

The appointment will increase Oceania Healthcare’s Board to seven directors.
