Sue Sheldon to retire from Contact Energy Board of Directors
Contact Energy today announces the resignation of director Sue Sheldon with effect
from 31 August 2018. The Board has commenced a search process for a replacement
director.
Sue Sheldon was appointed to the Board of Contact Energy in 2009 and remained on
the Board following the 2015 sell down by Origin Energy of its majority interest in
Contact Energy.
Sir Ralph Norris, Chair of Contact said, “I would like to thank Sue on behalf of my fellow
Board members and our shareholders for her many years of service and contribution to
Contact. In her role as a director, and more particularly her role as Chair of the Audit
Committee, she has provided sound guidance and advice. I wish her well for her future
endeavours.”
