APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Scott Technology Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Richard Jenman as Chief
Operating Officer.

This appointment follows a period of significant organic and acquisition growth for Scott Technology
which has increased the scale and scope of activities for the company. The COO role will focus on
achieving operational goals for the group and on the integration of acquisitions.

Richard has held a number senior management roles in electrical and mechanical engineering
orientated companies within New Zealand, Australia and the United States, most recently as a
member of the executive team at Inenco Group Pty Ltd and prior to that was Managing Director ANZ
for Eaton Corporation (Electrical Division); both roles were based in Sydney.

Richard holds a Batchelor of Commerce degree and post graduate studies from Lincoln University
and he is a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
