Senior management changes at Australian Glass Group  
 
Metro Performance Glass Limited (“Metro Glass”) today announced the departure of Australian Glass Group’s (“AGG”) 
Chief Executive Officer Brendan Simpson. Steve Hamer has been appointed as Acting CEO of AGG and in addition David 
Seymour has been appointed as GM Victoria. 
 
AGG – Chief Executive Officer

 Officer, John Fraser‐Mackenzie said: “Over the last two years Brendan has led the 
transition as AGG has become part of the Metro Glass Group.  As part of this change Brendan oversaw the recent 
significant capital program which included the establishment of a new factory in Tasmania.  As a result 
Brendan 
believes it is an appropriate time for him to pursue other opportunities, and we wish him every success for the future.” 
 
Steve Hamer has been appointed as the Acting Chief Executive Officer of AGG with effect from today, Steve has been 
working with AGG in a consulting capacity for 
the past three months. Mr Fraser‐Mackenzie said: “Steve has integrated 
well into the business and brings with him extensive senior management experience from the industrial products, 
construction and steel industries. We’re excited to have a leader of his calibre on board to lead AGG forward.” 
 
AGG – General Manager Victoria
 
David Seymour has been appointed as GM Victoria and will join the business on the 20th of August. David is an 
experienced manufacturing and supply chain operations executive with a track record of improving financial 
performance and driving continuous improvement. 
 
Mr Fraser‐Mackenzie said: “With Steve and David’s appointment, along
 with Angus Wilson’s recent appointment as 
GM NSW, AGG now has a refreshed senior management team in place. While the recent capital program proved more 
challenging than anticipated, it has provided AGG with a strong step forward in processing capacity and capability, and 
the business is well positioned in the 
South East Australian market.” 
 
Bio: Steve Hamer, Acting Chief Executive Officer ‐ AGG 
Steve is an experienced Chief Executive, advisor and consultant within the industrial products, construction and steel 
industries. He has held senior management roles for over 20 years’, including Chief Executive roles in steel and 
distribution at Arrium and General Manager positions at One Steel. For the past two years, Steve has
 held a number of 
roles including advisory board directorships, executive mentoring, leading private equity projects and consulting. Steve 
has completed the advanced management program from Harvard Business School. 
Bio: David Seymour, GM Victoria 
David has spent more than 20 years in operations and manufacturing roles within the building materials, food and 
paper industries across the UK, USA and Australia. He has a strong technical and process improvement background 
having implemented lean operations in a number of different settings. David’s recent roles include the Technical
 
Manager role at Australian Paper and the General Manager of Operations at Cheetham Salt. David holds an MBA from 
the Australian Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from the University of Leeds.
