Genesis Energy Change in Officer
Genesis announced today that its Executive General Manager of Technology and Digital, Jennifer
Cherrington, will be leaving the Company at the end of August 2018 as the technology and digital function
is integrated into the wider business.
Chief Executive, Marc England, said Cherrington’s role was established in 2016 to give more visibility and
focus to technology as the organisation set out to advance from operating as a traditional energy company
to embracing customer-led digital innovation and agile ways of working.
“In this time we have fast-tracked an industry leading overhaul of our technical capability and as a result
we now have the platforms that will enable us to embed digital thinking within all our teams. Jen’s
leadership has supported Genesis to reach this milestone in the transformation of our business and I wish
her all the best for her next endeavours.”
“A process has started to integrate the technology and digital roles into Genesis’ Product Marketing and
Customer Operations teams as we accelerate our focus on digital customer experiences and achieving our
vision of becoming customers’ first choice for energy management,” said England.
