Fisher & Paykel Healthcare Announces New Chief Financial Officer

Auckland, New Zealand, 23 October 2018 - Fisher & Paykel Healthcare Corporation Limited announced
today that Lyndal York has been appointed Chief Financial Officer. Mrs York will join the company in March
2019, reporting to Chief Executive Officer, Lewis Gradon.

Mrs York is currently CFO at ASX-listed Asaleo Care, based in Melbourne, Australia. In this role, she
manages the core CFO financial roles, in addition to investor relations and information technology. Prior to
her role at Asaleo Care, she held Head of Group Finance and Group Financial Controller roles at Cochlear
over an 11-year period. She has also spent time in the US, as VP Corporate Accounting and Reporting at
Edwards Lifesciences.

like to acknowledge Andrea Blackie, who has been performing the role of Acting Chief Financial Officer
since 1 June 2018.”

Mrs York replaces long-time CFO Tony Barclay, who retired from the company in May 2018. Andrea
Blackie will continue in her role as Acting CFO until Mrs York joins the company in March 2019, at which
point she will resume her role of General Manager – Finance.
