Auckland Airport experienced total passenger growth of 3.9% in November 2018. International passengers (excl. Transits) were up 4.7%,

while domestic passengers grew by 4.1% compared to November 2017.


International passenger growth (excl. Transits) was predominantly driven by additional capacity on Asia (+58,000 seats), particularly to

Indonesia (+17,000 seats), Singapore (+15,000 seats) and Taiwan (+8,000 seats) with the commencement of the Air New Zealand

Auckland-Taipei direct service. In addition, the Auckland-San Francisco route drove capacity increases on North America (+9,000 seats).


Domestic passenger growth was predominantly driven by additional capacity on the Auckland-Queenstown route (+21,000 seats).
