TOTAL VOTING RIGHTS

In accordance with the Financial Conduct Authority’s (“FCA”) Disclosure Guidance and Transparency
Rule 5.6, F&C Investment Trust PLC ("the Company") advises that as at 28 February 2019 the
Company had 561,819,016 ordinary shares in issue (including 18,138,304 held in Treasury). Each
such ordinary share has one vote per share.

The total number of voting rights that can be exercised in the Company is, therefore, 543,680,712.

The above figure of 543,680,712 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations
by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest
in, the Company under the FCA’s Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
