PETFOOD JOINT VENTURE SETTLES

Scales Corporation Limited (NZX:SCL) advises the settlement, on 1 April 2019, of the sale of 50% of
the New Zealand petfood ingredient business of Meateor Foods Limited.

This settlement establishes the petfood ingredient joint venture between Scales and Alliance Group
