Re: Westpac Self-Funding Instalments over securities in Amcor Limited (AMC)
Accelerated Completion Date for AMCSWR (SFIs)

Westpac Banking Corporation (“Westpac”) is the issuer of the following Westpac Self-Funding
Instalments (“SFIs”) over securities in AMC:

AMCSWR

On 6 August 2018 Amcor Limited (“AMC”) and Bemis Company, Inc (“Bemis”) announced that their
respective Boards of Directors had unanimously approved a definitive agreement under which AMC will
acquire Bemis in an all-stock combination.

On 13 March 2019 AMC announced that ASIC had registered a scheme booklet in relation to a scheme
of arrangement (“Scheme”) in which a new holding company, Amcor plc, will acquire all of the shares in
AMC and subsequently acquire Bemis in an all-stock combination by way of a merger of Bemis into a
subsidiary of Amcor plc.

If the Scheme is approved, AMC shares are expected to be suspended from trading on the ASX from the
close of trading on 8 May 2019.

Pursuant to clause 12.1 of the applicable Terms of Issue, Westpac has fixed an Accelerated Completion
Date of 1 May 2019 for AMCSWR.

As a result, the SFIs will be de-listed at the close of trading on 1 May 2019.
