Fletcher Building appoints Chief Executive Building Products

Auckland, 6 June 2019: Fletcher Building today announced the appointment
of Hamish McBeath to the role of Chief Executive Building Products, a portfolio
which will also now include the Steel Division. Hamish is currently the Chief
Executive of Steel and he will take up his new role on 17 June 2019.

Fletcher Building CEO Ross Taylor says: “Hamish has proven performance and
capability gained during his 18 years with Fletcher Building. He is an
experienced leader and brings a deep understanding of the markets we
operate in along with a commitment to exceptional customer service.”

Adrian Blake has been appointed as General Manager-Steel and will report to
Hamish. Adrian has been leading the National Sales team for the Steel Division
for the last four years, and this experience will ensure momentum and
continuity for Steel.

For financial reporting purposes, the combined Building Products Division will
come into effect on 1 July 2019. FY19 reporting will reflect the current structure
with both divisions shown separately. From FY20 the Steel business will be
reported as a segment within Building Products.
