Comvita announces changes to the Board of Directors

Comvita announces today that Non-Executive Director Murray Denyer, has resigned from the Board of
Directors for health-related reasons, effective from Friday, 16
th
August 2019. Murray Denyer joined the
Comvita Board in 2015 and has been integral to some key acquisitions and Governance Policy reviews, and
served as Chair of the Remuneration Committee from 2016.

Murray is to be replaced by Bob Major, effective 1
st
September 2019. Bob Major has been appointed to the
Board to replace Murray because of his extensive international business experience and comprehensive
Governance career predominantly in the food and related primary industry sector. Bob notably has
experience of doing business in China, having lived and worked in Hong Kong and China for 10 years with
Fonterra with his last role being Managing Director for Fonterra China.

Bob’s other Directorships include Kiwirail Holdings, Gibb Holdings, BioVittoria and Miro Trading. He is the
government appointed Chair of the High Value Nutrition National Science Challenge and, Avocado Primary
Growth Partnership. Previous Board roles include Westland Milk Products, Sealord Group, Barker Fruit
Processors and Chair of the Mud House Wine Group.

Bob’s senior management career saw him in lead roles between 1983-2009 with Fonterra and its
predecessor the NZ Dairy Board in China, Hong Kong and the Middle East.
