Meridian Energy announces new Chief Customer Officer

Meridian Energy today announces that Lisa Hannifin has been appointed as Chief Customer Officer,
effective immediately.
“I am delighted to appoint Lisa Hannifin to the role of Chief Customer Officer,” said Meridian’s Chief
Executive, Neal Barclay.
Lisa will assume the role of General Manager of Meridian’s retail business, which includes
accountability for the Meridian and Powershop customer brands and the operational retail functions of
the Meridian Group.
Previous to this role, Lisa led the Sales and Service teams for Meridian. She brings rich experience
and insight from a number of customer roles in her career, including a decade in the New Zealand
electricity market.
“Lisa is a bold and popular leader who will help Meridian drive our ambitious strategy for our retail
brands, while keeping customers at the very heart of our mission,” adds Barclay.
