S&P reaffirms Mercury’s BBB+ corporate credit

Ratings agency Standard & Poor’s has confirmed Mercury’s corporate credit rating as BBB+/Stable in a
report published today. This rating includes a one-notch uplift from the company’s stand-alone rating of ‘bbb’, reflecting the
legislated majority ownership by the New Zealand government.
