Heartland Announces Change to Board of Directors of Heartland Bank

Heartland Group Holdings Limited (NZX/ASX: HGH) (Heartland) wishes to announce the resignation of
an independent director of its subsidiary, Heartland Bank Limited (Heartland Bank), Vanessa Stoddart,
effective 1 January 2020.
Vanessa has served on the Board of Heartland Bank since 2016 and Bruce Irvine, the Chair of Heartland
Bank, wishes to thank Vanessa on behalf of the Board for her contribution throughout that period,
particularly in relation to the people, culture and conduct areas.
Heartland will provide a further update regarding Heartland Bank’s board succession in due course.
