The Warehouse Group announces new Director appointment

The Warehouse Group Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Dean Hamilton as

a Non-Executive Director of The Warehouse Group Board.

Mr Hamilton comes to The Warehouse Group with significant CEO and financial markets

experience. He was CEO of Silver Fern Farms Limited where he successfully led the

business through a period of significant change and improvement in financial performance,

health & safety, staff and supplier engagement, sustainability and consumer trust in the

brand.

His career includes 12 years at global investment bank Deutsche Bank, working in both

Australia and New Zealand, where he advised a wide range of companies on M&A, capital

management, corporate restructuring and capital raising.

Other current directorships Mr Hamilton holds include Fulton Hogan (Chair), Tappenden

Holdings, Auckland International Airport and Skyline Enterprises. He is on the Audit & Risk

board committees for Auckland International Airport and Skyline and the Health & Safety

committees of Fulton Hogan and Auckland International Airport (Safety and Operational

Risk).

Mr Hamilton holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration from Victoria University and

is a Chartered Member of the New Zealand Institute of Directors.

The Warehouse Group Chair Joan Withers said she is delighted Dean is joining The

Warehouse Group Board. “Dean has unique breadth of senior commercial experience as a

non-executive director, as CEO of a large operational business and as a managing director

in a global investment bank. He also has extensive experience in equity and debt capital

markets and investor engagement in Australia and New Zealand.”

“Dean’s substantial and broad ranging experience will add a valuable skillset to our Board

and will complement the experience of existing members. I look forward to working with

Dean as we drive the strategic plan for the Group forward.”

Mr Hamilton will attend his first Board meeting as a director on 28 May 2020 and, as

required by the Company’s Constitution, will stand for election by shareholders at the Annual

Shareholder Meeting in November.
