NZX Regulation (“NZXR”) advises that, at the request of the company, it has placed a trading
halt on Westpac Banking Corporation (“WBC”) ordinary shares, and (“WBC010”) corporate
notes. The trading halt was placed pre market open on Monday, 4 May 2020.
The halt will remain in place until the release today by WBC of its half-year financial results and
related documents.
