Infratil – Qscan Radiology Clinics

Following recent media speculation, Infratil confirms that it is a member of a consortium which is in

discussions with Quadrant Private Equity regarding a potential transaction involving an acquisition

of a majority interest in Qscan Radiology Clinics, which is a comprehensive diagnostic medical

imaging practice throughout Australia. The discussions are ongoing and incomplete and may not

result in a transaction occurring.

Infratil notes that it raised additional equity of NZ$300 million in June 2020 to position itself to pursue

its growth agenda and take advantage of any other investment opportunities that may arise. The

proceeds of the equity raise were initially applied to reduce drawn bank facilities. Those existing bank

facilities could now be applied to fund the Qscan acquisition if it occurs, so no additional funding

would be required.

We will continue to update the market as material developments unfold.
