NZX Regulation (“NZXR”) advises that, at the request of the company, it has placed a trading
halt on Westpac Banking Corporation (“WBC”) ordinary shares and Westpac Banking
Corporation Corporate Notes (“WBC010”). The trading halt was placed pre market open today.
The halt will remain in place until the release of WBC full year results.
