Goodman (NZ) Limited, the Manager of Goodman Property Trust, is pleased to
announce it has appointed Laurissa Cooney to the Board as a non-executive
Director.
The effective date of the appointment is 4 November 2020 and in accordance with the
NZX listing rules the Board has determined that Laurissa is an Independent Director.
Laurissa is a professional director. Her current directorships include Accordant Group
Limited, Air New Zealand Limited, Ngai Tai ki Tamaki and Tourism Bay of Plenty where
she is also the Chair.
Prior to these governance roles she was Chief Financial Officer of Te Whare Wānanga
o Awanuiārangi. Her professional career has also included senior auditing and
consulting rol es with Deloitte. She holds a Bachelor of Management Studies (Hons)
from Waikato University, is a Fellow of the Charted Accountants Australia and New
Zealand and a Chartered Member of the Institute of Directors.

technical expertise together with her wider professional and community experience
augments the skills of existing directors and broadens our business perspective.”
Goodman (NZ) Limited has also announced that Independent Director Peter Simmonds
will be retiring from the Board on 31 December 2020.
Keith Smith said, “Peter has made an outstanding contribution to the business over the
last 10 years, as both Director and Chair of the Audit Committee. The Board and
management team all thank him for his efforts and wish him a successful retirement
when he steps down at the end of the year.”
