Goodman (NZ) Limited, the Manager of Goodman Property Trust, is pleased to
announce it has appointed David Gibson to the Board as a non-executive Director. The
effective date of the appointment is 2 February 2021 and in accordance with the NZX
listing rules the Board has determined that David is an Independent Director.
David is a professional director, investor and business consultant. His current directorships
include NZME Limited and Rangatira Limited while his private interests include Sidehustle
App, Harker Herbals and Jess’s Underground Kitchen. He is also on the Board of Trustees of
Diocesan School for Girls and Chair of its Heritage Foundation.
David has over 20 years’ investment banking experience having held senior positions and
governance roles with Deutsche Craigs and Deutsche Bank, in New Zealand. He holds a
Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Canterbury.
Keith Smith, Chair of Goodman (NZ) Limited said, “David’s capital market expertise and
extensive corporate and governance experience make him a valuable addition to the Board.
His wide business interests, including the application of emerging technologies, are
particularly relevant as we plan for the impacts of a growing digital economy.”
Goodman (NZ) Limited has also announced that Independent Director Susan Paterson will be
retiring from the Board on 31 March 2021.

governance and commercial expertise being important contributors to the growth and success
of Goodman Property Trust over the last 12 years. The Directors and management team
would like to acknowledge her considerable efforts and wish her well for her future
