Organisational announcement – Peter Nathan
The a2 Milk Company announces that Peter Nathan has resigned from his role of Chief Executive Officer Asia
Pacific.
Chairman of The a2 Milk Company, David Hearn, said, “We wish to acknowledge the significant contribution Peter
has made to the Company. Peter has been a driving force behind the business and integral in building our brand
since he started with the Company over a decade ago.”
“During his time with the Company, Peter has led the successful relaunch of a2 Milk™ in Australia and has been
instrumental in launching and establishing our a2 Platinum® infant nutrition brand in Australia and China,” said
Mr Hearn.
Chief Executive Officer of the Company, David Bortolussi, said, “In my short time with the business, I have
observed Peter’s strong commercial and operational leadership. It is remarkable what he has built and what he
has achieved with a2. Peter will depart with our best wishes for the future.”
Peter Nathan said, “It has been an extraordinary journey working for The a2 Milk Company for the past fourteen
years. I am blessed to be part of the unique story and I am proud of the brand and business that we built from
revenue of $7m when we re-launched the brand in Australia, to where it is today. I wish the Company and my
team, along with our people, customers and partners every success as they take the business forward in the next
phase.”
It is expected that Peter will remain with the business for a period of time to assist with a smooth and orderly
transition. A search process will commence shortly and consider internal and external candidates.
