Third Age Health Services' announces board and management update
Wayne Williams has been appointed to Third Age Health Services’ (“Third Age Health”) board
and Neil Hopkins has been appointed Acting Chief Financial Officer effective 10 June 2021.
Formerly a Partner of KPMG, Wayne has close to 30 years’ experience within the health sector.
He has worked in line management and consulting roles within primary care, DHBs and the
MOH.
He is currently CEO of Alliance Health Plus Trust, a Pacific-led Primary Health Organisation
based in South Auckland and is also on the board of Bay of Plenty DHB. He is a member of the
Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and a Chartered Member of the
Institute of Directors.
Wayne said, "Third Age Health meets a critical need within Aged Residential Care and is well
positioned to grow with the continuing demand in this sector”.
Third Age Health founder and Chairman Bevan Walsh said Wayne is a welcome addition to the
board.

DHB leadership experience and contacts, and his financial management expertise. His palpable

Neil is a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years’ experience. His roles include serving as CFO
and Company Secretary of both public and private companies including at Endace and 9
Spokes and is currently Company Secretary at 9 Spokes.

Wayne’s appointment lifts the number of directors on Third Age Health’s board to four, with three
being independent and the Third Age Health board now consists of:

Wayne Williams, Independent Director
