ISSUE OF SHARES

The Company announces the issue of 2,600,000 new ordinary shares of 2.5p each.
These shares were issued today at a price of 115.6p per share.

Following this issue, the total number of ordinary shares in issue with voting rights is
now 1,314,252,830.

With effect from 10 June 2021, the total number of voting rights in the Company is
1,314,252,830. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the
calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in,
or a change to their interest in, The Bankers Investment Trust PLC under the FCA’s
Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
