Serko Announces Board Changes

Serko Limited (NZX/ASX:SKO), a leader in online travel booking and expense management technology,
announced today that Simon Botherway will stand-down from the Board at Serko’s Annual Meeting in August
2021 after seven and a half years’ service on the Board. The Board is making good progress with appointing a
new independent director to replace Simon and expects to be in a position to confirm the appointment shortly.
Mr Botherway had previously indicated his desire to step down from the Board in due course as part of the
Board’s succession plans, but had agreed to remain on the Board while the Company continued its search for a
new independent director.
Ms Batten said: “I cannot adequately acknowledge the enormous contribution that Simon has made to Serko,
the Board and to my personal development. Simon has been on the Serko Board for nearly eight years, where
he chaired the Board for the majority of that time. His commitment to the company was unwavering and he
established a very high bar for performance for the Board which helped Serko navigate some turbulent early
years. He represents the benchmark of excellent governance and has been instrumental in helping grow Serko
into an international company. He will be very missed.”
Serko’s CEO, Darrin Grafton said: “I’d also like to thank Simon, personally and on behalf of my co-founder Bob
Shaw, for his significant contribution to Serko. He has played a major role in the growth of the Company since
we listed and we are both very grateful for his guidance during this time as Chairman of the Board.”
