The Warehouse Group announces new Future Director
The Board of The Warehouse Group Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Caroline
Rainsford as the company’s latest participant in the Future Director programme.
Caroline is currently the Country Director for Google NZ, where she is responsible for driving the
overall revenue and business strategy for New Zealand and partnering with Government, policy
teams and New Zealand business leaders.
The Warehouse Group Chair Joan Withers said she is delighted that Caroline is joining The
Warehouse Group Board as part of the Future Directors programme.
“Caroline has unique and valuable experience as Country Director of a global technology brand, and
we look forward to the value Caroline will bring to the Board with her passion for the future of
technology, international knowledge and wealth of digital and strategic experience”.
“We are pleased to welcome Caroline in her capacity as a Future Director and we are delighted that
we have the opportunity to once again foster the growth of New Zealand’s next generation of
director talent”.
Prior to joining Google in 2017, Caroline was the Marketing and Product Director for the Latitude NZ
(previously GE Capital) business as well as the Brand Director for the broader Australian and New
Zealand region. Her earlier career included roles with Philips in the Middle East, Turkey and Africa.
Caroline holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours from the University of Auckland.
She will attend her first Board meeting on 31 August 2021 and her appointment runs until February
2023.
Joan Withers thanked current Future Director Renee Mateparae for her contribution.
“Renee has made an excellent contribution to the Board during her term. We are particularly
grateful for her valuable experience and guidance through our Agile transformation.”
Ms Mateparae’s term ends on 1 September 2021.
