LORRAINE WITTEN APPOINTED NEW CHAIR OF MOVE LOGISTICS GROUP

Transport and logistics group, MOVE Logistics Limited (NZX: MOV), is pleased to announce the
appointment of Lorraine Witten as Chair, effective from today, 30 September 2021.
As part of the Board’s long term succession planning, both Trevor Janes and Jim Ramsay, who are
retiring by rotation at this year’s annual meeting, have advised that they will not be seeking
re-election. Trevor has stepped down as Chairman of the Board from today, to enable a seamless
succession over the next few months.
Trevor commented: “It has been a privilege to have been Chairman of MOVE Logistics Group since
its listing three years ago. Our company is now moving into the next stage of its journey with a
refreshed Board and new leadership. Lorraine is a dynamic and experienced director with over 20
years’ governance experience. She was the unanimous choice of the Board and, from today,
becomes the first female Chairperson of an NZX-listed transport company.“

Lorraine said: “I am delighted to be stepping into the role of Chair and would like to acknowledge
the significant contributions of both Jim and Trevor.
“Jim is one of the founders of MOVE and without him, our company would not exist. Jim’s career
spans more than 50 years and his passion and deep industry knowledge have been intrinsic to the
creation of one of New Zealand’s leading transport companies. Jim has been the recipient of a
number of awards including being made a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and
Transport, awarded the Supreme Mayoral Award for Business Excellence and inducted into the NZ
Road Transport Hall of Fame in 2013.
“Trevor is one of New Zealand’s most experienced directors and MOVE shareholders have been
privileged to have him at the helm as the company has made the transition from a privately owned
to a publicly listed entity. We are now well positioned to move our company forward, with a
comprehensive review underway to create a clear pathway to realising MOVE’s potential.”
The Board will take the opportunity to acknowledge the contributions of Jim and Trevor at the 2021
Annual Meeting.
