Genesis Appoints Acting Chief Financial Officer

Genesis Energy today announces that Emma Oettli has been appointed acting Chief Financial Officer,
effective 1 November 2021. For the past year she has been Genesis’ Group Manager Planning and
Reporting. Emma has previously worked in senior roles at the Bank of New Zealand and has over
fifteen years financial experience across banking, energy and telecommunications. She is a member
of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.

Outgoing CFO, Chris Jewell, will remain at Genesis until 29 October to support the handover. The
internal and external search for a permanent CFO remains ongoing.
