Re: Westpac Self-Funding Instalments over securities in Sydney Airport (SYD)

Westpac Banking Corporation (“Westpac”) is the issuer of the following series of Westpac Self-
Funding Instalments (“Westpac SFIs”) over securities in SYD:

On 3 February 2022, Sydney Airport announced that Sydney Airport securityholders had approved by
the requisite majorities the company scheme of arrangement and the trust scheme pursuant to which
Sydney Aviation Alliance Pty Ltd will acquire all the securities in Sydney Airport (“Schemes”) for cash
consideration of $8.75 per scheme security.

On 9 February 2022, Sydney Airport announced that the Supreme Court of New South Wales had
approved the Schemes and that the Schemes are now legally effective. Securities in SYD are
expected to be suspended from trading on the ASX from close of trading on 9 February 2022.

Pursuant to clause 12.1(a)(i) of the Terms of Issue, Westpac has determined to fix an Accelerated
Completion Date for the above series of Westpac SFIs of 23 February 2022.

As a consequence of the above, the above series of Westpac SFIs will be suspended from trading
from close of trading on 9 February 2022 until the close of trading on the Accelerated Completion Date
of 23 February 2022 at which time they will be delisted.
