The Board of Genesis Energy (NZX: GNE) confirms that it has agreed a departure date of 14 October
2022 with CEO, Marc England, subsequent to him informing us two weeks ago of his intent to leave the

and growth in the business during a critical period for the sector. The Board wishes to acknowledge the
significant value that Marc has brought to Genesis over the last six years.

an intensive period of change and positioning it for the future as a more sustainable, inclusive and
customer focussed business. We wish Marc all the best in his next role and thank him for his energy,
leadership and efforts on behalf of Genesis.”
Marc England commented: “It has been a privilege to have led Genesis, one of New Zealand’s strongest
brands and owner of critical national infrastructure, and to have worked with an amazing team of
people. I am particularly proud of what the Genesis team has accomplished during the past six years
and confident the business will continue to perform well whilst leading the way in in support of New
Zealand’s transition to a low carbon future.”
