ANNOUNCEMENT BY NEW TALISMAN GOLD MINES LIMITED
(NZX: NTL, ASX: NTL)
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

NTL FINALISES KEY HEALTH AND SAFETY PLANS FOR TALISMAN MINE


NTL is pleased to advise that it has approved the detailed health and safety plans for
recommencement of operations at Talisman Mine (the Principal Hazard Management Plans
and Principal Control Plans). NTL expects to finalise its Health and Safety Management
System, the remaining key element of its health and safety framework, within the next few
weeks. The completion of our health and safety system framework is a key milestone to be
completed prior to our return to mining.
NTL is also pleased to advise that the Talisman mine site has been externally checked
following the recent extreme weather events and has not been materially impacted. Some
minor chainsaw work was required on the access road.
Finally, we would like to remind shareholders that our current rights issue remains open until
