Comvita announces intended changes to the Board of Directors
Comvita Limited (NZX:CVT) would like to announce the following changes within the board; That Non-
Executive Director Luke Bunt has indicated his intention to retire from the Board of Directors
effective 30th September 2023. Luke joined the Board in July 2014 and has had a significant role in
guiding the company through substantial change over that time, including as Chair of the Audit and Risk
Committee and as Deputy Chair. Chairman Brett Hewlett said "I want to thank Luke for the valuable
contributions he has made during his 9 years tenure. Most significant was the support and wise counsel
that Luke has provided in his capacity as Deputy Chair during a period of significant change for the
business. He leaves us at a time when the Company is on a much more stable footing and performing
strongly."
As previously announced on 22 November 2022, Julia Hoare joined the Board effective from 1 March
2023. Julia will join as a member of the Audit and Risk Committee and is intended to take over the Chair
of this committee upon Luke’s retirement.
Comvita is committed to steady evolution of the Board to meet the changing needs of the business in line
with our future strategic direction. As such Comvita will look to make another new Director appointment
prior to the AGM in 2023.
Ends.
