Given recent events, the Board of F&C Investment Trust plc wishes to advise that the Company holds
51,453 shares in Silicon Valley Bank. Prior to suspension of the stock on 10 March 2023, the holding was
valued at £4.5m, representing approximately 0.09% of the Company’s total portfolio and is therefore
considered to be immaterial. The price of the holding has been written down to zero.
