NZ RegCo advises that, at the request of the issuer, it has placed a trading halt on Westpac
Banking Corporation (“WBC”) ordinary shares. The halt was placed at premarket open today,
Monday, 8 May 2023.
The trading halt has been put in place pending the release of WBC’s Interim Financial Results.
The trading halt is expected to be lifted after the release of the relevant announcements by
WBC on NZX.
