WasteCo completes private placement

WasteCo is pleased to announce that it has successfully raised $4.32 million through a
placement to selected New Zealand wholesale investors (Placement).

Approximately 66.5 million new shares will be issued in the Placement at a fixed price of $0.065
per share.

Settlement and allotment of the new shares issued under the Placement is expected to occur
on 15 June 2023.

WasteCo would like to thank investors for their strong support of the Placement which was well
supported by new institutional, family office and other wholesale investors. Proceeds from the
Placement will be applied to assisting with funding for both existing growth and acquisition
opportunities as they arise.

As signalled in its results announcement on 30 May 2023, WasteCo has a number of exciting
opportunities before it and is at various stages of discussions on a pipeline of new contracted
partnerships, as well as day to day growth in existing customer services.

Following its recent successful acquisitions of the Central Suction Cleaners business in Nelson
in March of this year, and more recently, the Cleanways and EnviroSouth businesses in
Invercargill as well as the Wastech business in Cromwell. WasteCo intends to continue to
actively pursue the acquisition of complementary businesses where to do so would both
enhance its customer service offering and create value to shareholders.

As previously indicated, WasteCo intends to offer existing investors the opportunity to also
participate in funding the further growth of the company through a share purchase plan (SPP).
Details for the SPP will be advised to shareholders in due course.
