Vulcan Steel Limited (Vulcan) advises that the company plans to release its half-year
results (relating to the period 1 July 2023 to 31 December 2023) (1HFY24) to the ASX and NZX
at 9:00am NZDT (7:00am AEDT) on Tuesday, 13 February 2024.
Vulcan will host a conference call to discuss the 1HFY24 results.

In Vulcan’s soon to be released 1HFY24 result, the company will be realigning its statutory
accounts segment disclosure for consistency with its internal practice. Previously, internal
allocation of corporate costs to operating segments was not reflected in Vulcan’s statutory
accounts segment note. This upcoming change will affect Vulcan’s disclosed segment
earnings and corporate costs, but will have no impact on overall earnings. The impact of
this change on segment earnings and corporate costs for the financial year ended 30 June
2023 (FY23) is included in the Appendix to this announcement.
