Synlait announces smaller Executive Leadership Team

Synlait Milk Limited (Synlait) CEO Grant Watson is creating a smaller Executive Leadership Team (ELT)
to increase alignment, reduce costs, and accelerate growth.

The key changes include:

 Establishing a Chief Commercial Officer role, responsible for the Advanced Nutrition and
Ingredient businesses. Naiche Nogueira, previously the Director of Advanced Nutrition (role
disestablished under restructure), has been appointed to this role.

 Disestablishing the Director of Quality, Regulatory & Laboratory Services role. These functions
will be integrated across the balance of the business.

These changes reduce the direct reports to the CEO by two.

CEO Grant Watson commented: “Given Synlait’s current performance, we need a greater return on
the capability and capacity of our executive roles. These changes will better align our structure for
improved performance and provide greater focus and support for our people and our customers.”
