At 31 March 2024, the Company’s capital consisted of 162,988,564 ordinary shares of no par
value, of 806,385 which ordinary shares were held in Treasury. Shares held in Treasury do
not possess voting rights. On a poll, members have one vote for every share held. Therefore,
the total number of voting rights in Henderson Far East Income Limited is 162,182,179.

The above figure (162,182,179) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the
calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a
change to their interest in, the voting rights of the Company under the FCA’s Disclosure
Guidance and Transparency Rules.
