Details of transactions and events giving rise to ceasing of substantial holding
Details of the transactions or other events requiring disclosure:
On 28 March 2024, MEE issued a total of 38,882,457 ordinary shares in connection with a
rights issue offer, which resulted in the total number of ordinary shares on issue in MEE
increasing to 54,320,096 (Rights Issue). TW Jarvis Family Trust did not acquire any
shares under the Rights Issue. The Rights Issue had a dilutive impact on TW Jarvis Family
Trust's shareholding in MEE such that it ceased to have a substantial holding in MEE.
Prior to the Rights Issue, MEE undertook certain other corporate actions which had a
dilutive impact on TW Jarvis Family Trust's shareholding in MEE.

The total number of ordinary shares in MEE held by the TW Jarvis Family Trust decreased
from 139,204,546 to 1,392,045 on 10 January 2024 as a result of a share consolidation
implemented by MEE pursuant to which shareholders of MEE received one ordinary share in
MEE for every 100 ordinary shares in MEE held, with fractions of shares rounded to the
nearest whole number of shares (with 0.5 rounded up).
