Sale of shares from treasury

The Company confirms that it agreed on 5 June 2024 to issue 425,000 ordinary shares of no
par value to the market from those currently held in treasury. The shares will be issued at a
price of 233.00p per share.

Following this sale from treasury, the Company’s share capital is as follows:

Total voting rights: 162,707,179
Ordinary shares held in treasury: 381,385
Total issued share capital: 163,088,546

The total voting rights figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the
calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a
change to their interest in, Henderson Far East Income Limited under the FCA’s Disclosure
Guidance and Transparency Rules.
